course overviewÂ
This CPD course will provide a comprehensive review of adhesive techniques, materials, and clinical protocols. There is a strong emphasis on evidence-based approaches for predictable bonding of direct and indirect restorations.
Adhesive dentistry has become a cornerstone of modern restorative practice, enabling minimally invasive treatment, improved aesthetics, and long-term functional outcomes. However, with the growing number of adhesive systems, restorative materials, and evolving techniques, clinicians often find themselves uncertain about which bonding protocol to follow for a given situation.
This comprehensive, two-day lecture and hands-on program, presented by Specialist Prosthodontist Dr Justin Le, provides an in-depth review of adhesive principles and evidence-based clinical protocols. The course explores how adhesion works at the microscopic level, the rationale behind various adhesive techniques, and how to apply these concepts predictably across a wide range of restorative materials – including ceramics, resin-matrix materials, and even 3D-printed restorations.
Attendees will gain a clear understanding of substrate-specific bonding strategies, learn to avoid common clinical errors, and develop confidence in selecting the most appropriate adhesive system for each case. The program is designed to translate current evidence into practical, everyday dentistry.
