This course aims to empower dental professionals with the knowledge and skills required to deliver high-quality care for primary teeth using pulpotomy and stainless-steel crown techniques for children.
Â
Course Overview
The CPD day on pulpotomy and stainless-steel crowns is structured into two segments, each combining lectures and hands-on practical sessions. The morning begins with a 45-minute lecture on pulpotomy, covering indications, techniques, materials, and troubleshooting, followed by a two-hour practical session where participants will apply the learned techniques to perform pulpotomy on two primary tooth models.Â
The afternoon focuses on stainless-steel crowns, starting with a 45-minute lecture discussing case selection, tooth preparation, and crown fitting techniques. Participants will then engage in a two-hour practical session using the pulpotomy-prepared teeth to fit, contour, and cement stainless-steel crowns.
The day concludes with a 30-minute recap, a Q&A session, and feedback, ensuring a thorough understanding of both procedures.
