Dr Yastira Lalla graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2012. Dr Lalla began a Master of Philosophy in Oral Oncology concurrently in the final year of her undergraduate degree and completed this in 2014. The resulting research has been published in journals and presented in conferences both in Australia and overseas. During her post-graduate studies she worked as an Associate Dentist in the Brisbane and Ipswich areas. Dr Lalla was awarded a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology in 2018 and is a Member of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. She is a visiting lecturer at Griffith University and an examiner at the University of Queensland.
