ADAQ President's Update - Nov 2021
Wednesday, 17 November 2021
Hello and welcome to my final edition of ADAQ E-News!
Queensland Government has now extended its COVID-19 vaccination mandate to all health care workers. Please communicate with your staff and make sure they’re all aware of this – it’s not optional. December 15 is the deadline. This is also an excellent time to review the new Guidance documents.
By now you would have received information about our Dental Team Access. This is an opportunity for your prosthetists, technicians and entire staff to experience ADAQ as their Dental Home. It’s free for them to apply and they have access to key ADAQ resources. Find out more at https://adaq.com.au/dentalteam
Our Council elections have now been held, and I am pleased to tell you that your new Moreton Councillors are Matt Nangle, Jay Hsing, Keith Willis and Kaye Kendall. Peninsula will be represented by Kevin Ang, Western division by Oleg Pushkarev, and Northern Division by Jitan Rao. Congratulations to all! Find out more at https://www.adaq.org.au/councilelections
Our AGM will be held on the evening of Thursday 25 November. I do encourage as many as possible of you to attend, and a reminder that this will be followed on Friday 26 by Clinic Day and our cocktail event to follow. Clinic day promises to be one of the best ever, so please register and come! Learn more at https://adaq.com.au/clinicday
This is my last message to you as President. I would like to thank everyone at ADAQ for their support and generosity over the last year and to thank everyone of you, our members, for the opportunity to represent you. It has been a privilege and an honour, and I wish you and ADAQ every success going forward. Never forget, we’ve got your back!
