Hello members. We are now halfway through 2022. You will have received emails or seen reminders in our social media and it is time to renew your AQ membership. Your membership entitles you to exclusive services and resources that are designed to support your career and benefit the entire profession. I encourage you to take advantage of the 10% early bird discount we are providing on your HQ fees this year.

If you renew before the 25th of June, your membership means we can continue to advocate for the dental health of Queenslanders and provide ongoing support to dental teams across the state. It is an app requirement that you complete at least 60 hours of CPD over a three year cycle. Our CPD team has worked hard to add additional courses to our calendar at highly competitive prices so that you can achieve your hours.

We have a wide selection of courses available, including full day courses that focus on hands on skills, lectures with multiple specialist speakers and online courses you can complete in your own time. The Australian Dental Health Foundation and Mars Wrigley Foundation are taking applications for the Healthier Smiles Community Service Grants. The grants are awarded to volunteer dentists and dental students, encouraging them to implement oral health, community service, education and preventative care in some of the highest risk and most disadvantaged communities across Australia.
